Bathroom Remodel Products

When we bought our house, I knew I’d want to change just about everything, this bathroom included. A recent plumbing leak mandated that it was the next in line for a makeover!

Accent tiles are thought to be perfect for a small bath. When you set up these tiles you need to make it sure that the color goes well with the whole design of your bath. Rest the shower cement board on top of the shower base flange (see Photos 14 and 18), not over it. Extend the tile over the flange, then caulk between the tile and the base. Under the sink you’ll have decent storage and access to the gas and water lines… if you are a better plumber than us you could get them all in full working shape! This looks easy enough to manage time wise and pocket book friendly. No doubt it will be helpful to many!

Mix equal parts of vinegar, alcohol and water then add a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a few drops of the oil if you want to add a scent. I usually put it in a spray bottle for easy application. Vinyl flooring and linoleum floors are also waterproof, durable and easy-to-clean. Although possible, some flooring choices that may be used in other parts of the home may not work well in the bathroom, such as carpeting and wood flooring.

Cyndi-I’m with you. I couldn’t stand to live with all white walls or all any 1 color wall, no matter what it was. Since I live in a rental home I have to depend on accessories to brighten the rooms. 🙂 Thanks for reading and sharing. Looking for affordable ways to update your existing kitchen island? Sometimes a few small changes and a little creativity can make a big impact. So let’s look at a few ideas.

Personally I’d do the non-football pulls, but knowing how much you love the game, I think you should use them on some of the doors. BUT buy extra knobs that correspond with the plain pulls now, so if you ever put the house up for sale, you can make them all matchy-matchy. Most homeowners install carpeting in their bedrooms. This is likely due to the fact that a warm, soft floor is the first thing people want to feel when they get out of bed in the morning. A colder wooden or tiled floor may make it difficult for people to get going. A nice, thick, plush carpet is usually the best option for bedrooms.
