To say I’m in love is an understatement. As I mentioned in my first post , this was actually completed 2 years ago, and I can say today that I walk in every morning and still love it. Maybe living in an ugly, unfinished bathroom for 3 years has that effect!
Tile is another material that you touch and feel each day. While you can find quality options for $5 per square foot, super cut-rate tiles may have slight size inconsistencies. The results will be crooked lines that make a bathroom look shoddy. I’d also bought a piece of ceiling tile back in March. I gave one square off to give to Callie and painted the other one blue to match the ruffles on the shower curtain. I turned up the corners with pliers and used glued a metal flower to the middle (to echo the flower on the window valance).
So how can you make the bathroom a safe place? Basically, you’ll need to turn the room into a handicap accessible bathroom by following the guidelines below. You are amazing in stretching your writing creativity, sharing such a range of subjects with us. I am greatly enjoying seeing what you will write about next! Before to long it was time for to start adding new elements back into the room. We started with the tub.
Oh, I used to do the ‘against the wall’ thing. Not the’ everything matches’ one – then I would have actually had to buy things. Blessed by a SquidAngel. I love ChicoBags for traveling! It folds up in your suitcase so you can fill it will souvenirs. They are so lightweight and durable I often use mine as my main suitcase. Click the photo below for more info!
You can also use your computer. The most direct option for planning a specifically IKEA kitchen if you have a PC is IKEA’s own Kitchen Planning software, downloadable from the IKEA website (see the links list). If you have a Mac the IKEA software won’t work – many people use Google’s free Sketchup software instead. Really beautiful – and as someone else said, timeless. Love that PB console sink – wish we had the room. Lovely job.
