I don’t blame you if you forgot. After all I began the project back in March. If you remember there were all sorts of setbacks. But basically this was the BEFORE”. Brown yucky cabinets, old faucets, a nasty vanity top…you get the idea.
I don’t know about you but it’s hard for me to make a run to the store in less than two hours. Every item you have on site and ready for the contractor is time and effort saved in labor cost. And, I’ll tell you, anytime your workers leave your project there’s no guarantee when they’ll come back. This drives construction managers crazy, too. This time is hard to track. If you choose to have the contractor buy the materials then make sure you have an agreed upon budget for these items in your contract.
Use a flexible container to mix up just enough dry plaster of Paris for your intended use. The plaster will cleanly separate from the container and you can put the container away to use on the next job.

You only need to reseal it once a year with brush & roller. It takes about 2 hours for the sealer to penetrate. All you use to clean it is soap and water. The surface is an extremely durable. If a crack should occur your fabricator would be able to repair it. My favorite is the Aqua Sand, Frost White and Calypso Blue. I love the colors because they remind me of the beach. If I had a beach home or a home by a lake, I would definitely put that in the kitchen or the master bath.
