Washington State Kitchen & Bath can help you achieve the best in bathroom remodeling. After all, your bathroom is an important component of the home. Make your time in the bathroom pleasurable with a bath remodel. From walk in baths and jetted tubs to shower installations, new bathroom counters to setting bath tiles, we can do it all.
Installing a new bathtub is one of the more complicated and expensive projects involved in a bathroom remodel. Not only will you have to purchase the tub itself, you will need to install surrounds and have a plumber come by for the installation. If you are just replacing the tub, and the surround can stay, your price will be lower than average. If you’re having a customized surround built, expect to pay around $3,160.
With a flexible work life and a pre-schooler, we bought the van to renovate in order to travel the country & visit family who winter in Florida. We started working on it immediately spending the summer to complete our interior upgrade with a new professional sofa, roof and door liner upholstery, new lined curtains that block the light and interior paint job that gives the vehicle a spa-like modern feel.
The cabin bed was a shop bought bed unit, which came in kit form, that’s made from standard contiboard for the sides and cupboards and a high density flooring grade chipboard for mattress base. Originally the cabin bed was freestanding, however with major modifications to the interior and back I converted it into a fitted cabin bed unit. Part of the modification was to make a headboard from some scrap plywood, faced with furniture foam and upholstered with some furniture fabric which I salvaged from an old sofa. The cabin bed was then set just over six inches (150mm) away from the back wall to accommodate the fitted bookcase and bedside shelf.
The cabinet company built the vanities and then the construction crew put up the crown molding and trim before the marble was set. I drew out the preliminary cabinet design and then some things changed during the process. We wanted to have a sitdown makeup station but we also wanted the uppers on her side for extra storage. Storage won out! The upper cabinet design also changed from being open with mesh or chicken wire to mirrored with the custom mullions that you see in this photo. That changed our look a little bit to more of a Glam Hollywood look.
