Renovation

We’re still putzing along with our little bathroom renovation, moving at the speed of almost-frozen molasses. For this post, I’m going to take you back in time (November) to where we installed the tile flooring, which has surprisingly been the easiest part of this whole adventure thus far (but certainly not without it’s own set of issues).

We can handle every detail with a 100% satisfaction guaranty. From cabinets to tile…from bathroom fixtures to shower doors… from plumbing to painting… and from basic to cutting-edge luxury, we’ve got you covered! Our 20 year old Ford Econoline Coachman conversion van is chock full of amenities… the trade-off is that it comes fully equipped with the charm of a nursing home waiting room -circa 1981. RV redecorating sounds like a good challenge to me! Smoochiefrog – Awww, thank you! I was thinking the arches would make it fit in more and not look like generic cheap mirrors.

Idea 9: For kitchens without islands, you still can use hanging pendant lights in other areas, such as over a breakfast a nook or pantry area. Or, try a hanging pendant light over your kitchen sink, in front of a kitchen window or over a dining server. All of my cleaning supplies are discretely tucked away in a trunk that held TV promotion information for a syndicated TV show. I got it when I worked in the promotion department of a local television station. Webster and Sons did an amazing job with our bathroom project! The workmanship was top quality and very reasonable!

Good article Om, and oh so true about simple budget changes making a difference. I replaced the knobs on my undersink cupboards not long ago with wooden ones, and replaced the switchplate with a wooden one as well. Since my countertop is a marble simulation with the same colors, it really looks great. I’m sharing this on Facebook. In the process of being stained, these bookshelves were added above a set of french doors in a study.

Knowing what to avoid when considering a real estate investment is key to success. This project went wrong from the beginning. Updated counter tops- Everyone would all love granite counter tops, but the cost can really break the bank. There are many other options that are just as updated but more cost friendly. In my kitchen remodel , I used ceramic floor tiles. They are beautiful, cost a lot less, and have a very high durability because they are high traffic floor tiles.
