Our master bathroom is finally done!! It was our most complicated DIY project to date, just because we had to move/add some plumbing. We have never attempted that before. It was extremely hard to get a before picture of the bathroom because it was 2 small tight spaces. One was a walkthrough vanity area and the other was the toilet, sink and stall shower.

And for your viewing pleasure, this is what it looked like a mere 12 weeks ago (although my hairstyle has changed at least 3 times since I actually took this picture). It is Mrs Renau, I estimated it to be around 11,000. with all the changes but I will consider giving you a call when I start this project. Courtney, your bathroom is gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS! There are a few things we have planned for the basement area. First and foremost is a bedroom/bathroom combination. This is initially designed for Abby (soon to be twelve) to have a larger space than her currently fairly small bedroom. But it will also be designed for the possibility of one or more of our aging parents to move in with us. Consequently it will need to be designed in an accessible manner, including wider doors and a walk-in shower (no tub). We’d also like it to have a walk-in closet for Abby and/or the parents. It should be large enough to fit a … Read More

First up are the new fixtures. We replaced all the cheap, builder grade, fixtures with these beautiful. oil rubbed bronze pieces. What a difference that made. Now I want a granite sink but that’s for another post. Because this room is mainly used by my tween daughter it needed a little glam. I found this pewter framed mirror at Kirklands for $29.99! Hi Janice – Well… that’s quite a lot of info and questions there. My advice… Moms tend to make the buying decisions when it comes to homes.
